MOU Signed Between Keystone Renewable Energy and PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. to Jointly Explore International Renewable Energy Markets
Keystone Renewable Energy Pte. Ltd. (“Keystone”) and PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. (“GEPCC”) are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in the development of international renewable energy projects. This partnership focuses on solar energy, land and offshore wind power, waste-to-energy solutions, and other pioneering green technologies.
Keystone, a Singapore-based affiliate of Keystone Offshore Pte. Ltd., is a fast-rising force in Asia’s renewable energy sector. With a mission to accelerate the global transition to net zero, Keystone brings deep technical and commercial expertise across a diversified portfolio—covering wind (onshore and offshore), solar (land and floating), ocean wave power, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and geothermal projects.
GEPCC, a subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA), is a globally recognized engineering powerhouse. With a proven track record in the investment, design, construction, and operation of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, GEPCC has delivered successful renewable energy developments across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Its robust international experience and integrated value chain make it a strong strategic partner for ambitious cross-border initiatives.
This MOU reflects the parties’ shared commitment to sustainability and regional collaboration. It also aligns with the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) initiative—an integrated regional energy system aimed at improving energy security, enabling renewable power trade, and advancing the ASEAN region’s decarbonization goals. The partnership will explore project opportunities that can feed into this broader regional energy ecosystem.
“This collaboration represents a major step forward in Keystone’s international growth strategy,” said a Keystone spokesperson. “GEPCC’s vast project delivery experience and global reach, combined with Keystone’s project development strength and regional insight, will enable us to jointly pursue high-impact renewable energy ventures that support both national and ASEAN-wide policy objectives.”
Initial areas of cooperation will include feasibility studies, investment structuring, technology evaluation, and early-stage project development in selected ASEAN and global markets.
Keystone Renewable Energy, an affiliated company of Keystone Offshore Pte. Ltd. (https://www.keystoneoffshore.com), brings strong technical and commercial expertise in offshore and renewable energy. Headquartered in Singapore, Keystone is committed to supporting global net-zero ambitions through partnerships in land and offshore wind, solar (including floating PV), ocean wave energy, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and geothermal development.
